Electric Vehicle Fundamentals Course

There is renewed interest in electric vehicles due to the introduction of plug-in hybrid and battery electric cars to the market by major manufacturers (e.g., GM, Nissan, Mitsubishi).

In this course, members of the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa with decades of experience with electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, boats, tractors, etc. will inform you about what electric vehicles are, how they work, differenty types and configurations, what is available and expected soon for purchase, doing a conversion, battery technologies, charging and much more.

Registration is limited to 24 students, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The price for the 10 night course is $150 (no HST). The course runs on Tuesday evenings from October 4th to December 6th, 2011. Classes are held at the Canada Science and Technology Museum, 1867 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa.
