Marcelo da Luz designed and built an environmentally friendly solar-powered electric car. He has driven it in many parts of the world\, including the Canadian north\, driving from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk. However\, he cannot get this vehicle licensed for road use in Ontario.

To raise awareness of this issue\, Marcelo is pulling this car (muscle power) from the Toronto area to Ottawa. Upon conclusion of this month-long trek\, he will be giving a presentation to EVCO and guests at 7\:30 p.m. on Monday\, May 28th\, at the Canada Science and Technology Museum (1867 St. Laurent Blvd at Lancaster Rd).
