There is renewed interest in electric vehicles due to the introduction of plug-in hybrid and battery electric cars to the market by major manufacturers (e.g., GM, Nissan, Mitsubishi).
In this course, members of the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa with decades of experience with electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, boats, tractors, etc. will inform you about what electric vehicles are, how they work, differenty types and configurations, what is available and expected soon for purchase, doing a conversion, battery technologies, charging and much more.
Mews Chevrolet (Orleans) will bring a Chevrolet Volt to the meeting, and present about it to our membership.
Please note that this meeting is being held on Oct. 24th, not October 31st.
Monthly EVCO Meeting, followed by post-meeting discussion at local coffee shop.
